Spotify is the largest music streaming service worldwide, capturing 32% of all music streaming subscribers as of 2021. The platform launched in 2006, was just officially launched in Feb 2021 in Nepal. Available on iOS, Android and desktop, the app follows a freemium model, meaning that you have to pay for certain features like downloading songs. Although, the free version is available in Nepal, to get the premium version one has to have access to PayPal, Mastercard or a Visa/ American Express credit card. The number of streams compiled in this list is updated till the 19th of April, 2022.
