Nepal's second-largest trading partner is China. Nepal has a long and fruitful history with the People's Republic of China. Nepal and China have had a friendly and cordial connection in the past. In 2020-21, Nepal imported 4,53,971 kg of sanitary pads from China, worth 1,95,297 thousand rupees. The two countries may freely trade thanks to open borders at Kodari-Nyalam, Rasuwa-Keyrong, Yari(Humla)-Purang, and Olangchung Gola-Riwu, Kimathanka Riwu, and Nechung(Mustang)- Lizi.
